During Anthony’s four-year enlistment, they endured the heartbreak of two tragic miscarriages, losses that left them emotionally shattered. The weight of their grief, combined with the challenges of transitioning to civilian life, eventually led to homelessness. With nowhere to turn, Anthony and Jasmine found themselves living in their car, struggling to hold on to hope.
But hope arrived when they contacted Vincentian CARES. Thanks to compassionate supporters like you, Vincentian CARES was able to provide them with temporary shelter in a hotel, a place of safety and stability. From there, Anthony and Jasmine worked tirelessly to rebuild their lives. With new jobs and, most importantly, a permanent place to call home, they found a renewed sense of purpose.
